Ricky has been backed this summer and is vying for the position of 'Mothers' best pony, achieving 66% on his first dressage outing.
Monty, still 'Mothers' star pony, going from strength to strength in his ridden career.
Connie, Yasmin's second orphan foal went home mid. November and has turned into the most amazing little person.
Balleroy Minstrel did his stuff again at the PUK Championships (August) winning the 3 y.o. Colt class and going Reserve Champion. Very well done to both Kate and Minstrel - what a wonderful season they have had.
A great Malvern Highland Pony Show for Balleroy ponies - Balleroy Minstrel, Balleroy Mercury & Balleroy Razzmatazz - and their owners.
All three were placed in their classes; Freddie (Balleroy Mercury) winning the 5y.o. gelding Class, Razz (Balleroy Razzmatazz) 3rd. in the yearling class and Minstrel (Balleroy Minstrel) 2nd. in the 2/3 y.o. Colt class. Also Freddie and Minstrel were 4th. in the progeny class.
8.7.07 Yasmin has taken on her second foster foal. A little sweetie called Connie, who Yasmin welcomed with open arms having had the previous foal weaned off her last Thursday.

At his second show ever, the East Anglia Native Pony on 10th. June 2007, he was::
- Winner of the 2/3 y.o Highland class
- Winner of Highland Youngstock Championship
- Champion Highland
- Overall Youngstock Champion
- Overall Champion of the Large Breeds
- Reserve to the Supreme Champion, all breeds.
What a day and what a super pony - congratulations to Kate and Minnie Minor from his siblings, Yoyo, Yana, Monty and Ricky - and of course his Mum, Yasmin.

Ivy's first foal is a filly called Isla, who is almost identical to Ivy when she was foaled. What a Madam!
Dudu (Lady Di) had a colt called Rambler, and at three days old is already taking charge in the playground.

My darling Katie has two new friends, Kate Sainsbury and her 20 year old son Louis, who come up from the New Forest for Louis to ride. They go off for long hacks in the Ashdown Woods and all three come back with a grin from ear to ear. Katie, who in her youth was a bit of a 'wild child', drops down a gear for Louis and really looks after him.
Kate Drury's Balleroy Minstrel (Minnie Minor) by Minstrel of Whitefield o/o Yasmin of Whitefield was recently licensed by the HPS - and to prove his worth won the Youngstock Class and was Champion at the Milton Park Show.
Friends Re-united!
Mistral & Mystic
Mistral, who is with Melanie Bailey near Lyme Regis, was joined this week by his full brother Mystic - they seem pleased to be re-united.
11.4.2007 Balleroy Mercury (Freddie) has been backed by Matthew Lawrence for Helen Best, who rode him for the first time today and is absolutely delighted.
Razzmatazz has now gone to his new home with Abi Schoenmakers from Beaulieu, Hampshire
Yasmin, the wonderful dam of Yoyo, Yana, etc., has adopted an orphan thoroughbred foal, Angel. Yasmin welcomed Angel with open arms when she was delivered to us here in the back of a Shogun, and the foal was suckling off her within five minutes. It was magic and Yasmin is so proud and happy. 2006 and Previous Years
2006 - First crop of foals by Lyncrest's Rhodri:
Lovely grey dun colt (Balleroy Rupert), the first of Lyncrest Rhodri's (Dougie) foals, and the first foal from a home bred mare, Balleroy Yoyo.
Another colt foal by Dougie (Balleroy Razzmatazz), out of Whitefield Lady Di - already showing signs of being a big personality.
Delightful filly foal (Balleroy Yashmina) by Dougie out of Yasmin of Whitefield - we are thrilled to a have a filly from Yasmin, who has produced so many good ponies in her time.
Balleroy Fenella has been doing great things with her local RDA Group, including winning a class with Margaret at Hickstead in the RDA Regionals. Also 2nd. In Hand at Heathfield Show. She is greatly loved by Rosemarie and her daughter and is so lucky to have such a nice home.
Pictured here is Bella's foal, Honeysuckle, bred in Wales where she now lives with the Hundletons. Bella was, in fact, the first Balleroy pony to have a foal.

We have been fortunate in winning the Yearling class at the Royal Show in consecutive years since 2000, with homebred ponies. Balleroy Delilah won this year, with Maverick, Major Tom, Inca and Dewdrop in the previous years. (2001 there was no Royal Show).
We were thrilled that Balleroy Ivy, who is the first of our youngsters to be produced in ridden classes, did so well at Malvern(2005), being 3rd. in the Novice Ridden (not exc.14hh) and 2nd. in the Nursery Novice. Beautifully ridden by Debbie Shilston, they both had a wonderful day and came home as pleased as punch.

home in Cambridgeshire where he will be run on until he takes up 'stallion
duties'.
